Expository writing is EXPLAINING how to do something.
Part 1
- You will receive a Lego kit with about a dozen blocks in it.
- Build a figure or a model. Use every brick in your kit.
- Write detailed directions for the model as you build.
- Make sure your directions include the number of your kit.
- When your model is complete, take a photo of it.
- BE SURE to include your name plate in the photo.
- Now dismantle the figure and put the bricks back in the correct bag.
- Give the kit and directions to Mrs. Witry.
- Now you will be give someone else's instruction and their kit.
- Build their model according to their exact instructions.
- Go to the author of the instructions and match your model to their photo.
- Take a picture of the photo and your model WITH name plate in the photo.
